Armagh Elim Pentecostal Church Host Congo Initiative UK CEO

CEO David Mcallister with a group of members of Armagh Elim Pentecostal Church

On Sunday, 12 April 2026, Congo Initiative UK Chief Executive, David McAllister MBE, was warmly welcomed to share his unique family and personal connection with the Congo, as well as the transformative Christian work of Congo Initiative across the DRC.

David McAllister MBE, Chief Executive, remarked: “I had a really enjoyable Lord’s Day, sharing fellowship with a large church family at Armagh Elim. I was made to feel so welcome by Jason and the congregation. It was my privilege to speak about God’s power at work in the Democratic Republic of Congo through Congo Initiative, which is empowering and transforming lives with Christ at the centre of all it does. I received such positive feedback and prayerful support from many in attendance, and we reminisced about local church members who played important roles in the Congo many years ago.”

Jason Grant, Armagh Elim Elder, said: “What a privilege it was to have David McAllister share about Congo Initiative UK at Armagh Elim! It was eye-opening, challenging, and encouraging. To see how God uses servant-hearted people to reach and touch lives across the globe is always a huge blessing.

It was especially meaningful to hear David speak about Noel Montgomery, who attended Armagh Elim before being called home to the Lord. Noel had donated parts for a Land Rover, and it is still going strong, providing vital transport to remote areas. God using a man from Co. Armagh to help keep the people of Congo moving— incredible!

A big thank you to David and the team. I would really encourage any church to invite Congo Initiative UK to a service—you will be blessed!”
