Bethesda Counselling Centre
We believe that counselling interventions are critical for personal and community transformation in a context that continues to experience domestic and political violence, as well as common mental and behavioural health challenges. Launched in 2016, Bethesda Counselling Centre provides caring, loving and compassionate Christian counselling programmes, including individual and group counselling; play therapy for children; grief and trauma services; counselling for victims of sexual violence; and training for local church leaders. Through the Bethesda Counselling Centre, we seek to bring hope, healing, and restoration for wounded individuals and communities. By addressing mental health needs, Bethesda plays a critical role in promoting healing and reconciliation in the DRC.
